We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be working with inventory management systems and ensuring order accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be comfortable with physical demands, and have a commitment to safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
- Stock and organize inventory accurately within the warehouse using established procedures.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks for moving materials.
- Assist with shipping duties, including preparing packages for transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all warehouse policies.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs) on a regular basis.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
