We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic logistics team in Los Angeles, California. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all safety protocols. Your role will involve managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. This is a critical position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment. You will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Key responsibilities include scheduling staff, conducting performance reviews, implementing operational improvements, and resolving any warehouse-related issues. Training new hires on company procedures and safety guidelines will also be a significant part of your duties. We are looking for a proactive individual who can identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance productivity and reduce costs. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities is essential. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of logistics principles. You will be expected to enforce all safety regulations and ensure that all employees utilize the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Regular inspections of the warehouse for potential hazards are mandatory. The physical demands of this role may include frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
