Operate a Reach Truck with precision and efficiency as our new Reach Truck Operator in Orlando, Florida. This role is critical to our warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are moved safely and effectively throughout our facility. You will be responsible for loading and unloading pallets, transporting goods to and from storage locations, and assisting with inventory management tasks. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is paramount. You must possess a valid forklift operator certification and a demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment safely. This position requires keen attention to detail, strong spatial awareness, and a commitment to Safety. You will be provided with all necessary PPE and must wear it at all times. Occasional duties may involve some manual Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload pallets from trailers and storage areas.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Inspect equipment for defects and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and operating procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE while operating the reach truck and performing other duties.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve warehouse goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift and reach truck operator certification.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring good hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning.
- Commitment to Safety and accident prevention.
- Capability for occasional manual Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
