Join our dynamic team in Atlanta, Georgia, as an Inventory Control Specialist! This role is fundamental to the success of our logistics operations, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our inventory. You will be responsible for performing meticulous cycle counts, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies, and maintaining precise inventory records. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to fulfill orders efficiently and manage our warehouse effectively. We maintain a strong commitment to workplace Safety, and adherence to all protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. This position requires a sharp, analytical mind and a keen eye for detail. While primarily focused on data management, some physical activity, such as Lifting and moving inventory, may be necessary. Responsibilities:
- Execute daily cycle counts and periodic physical inventories.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes.
- Maintain accurate inventory data within the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Develop and implement inventory control strategies.
- Collaborate with operational teams to improve inventory accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Uphold strict Safety standards and utilize all required PPE.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Proficiency in WMS software and inventory management tools.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting as part of inventory checks.
- Commitment to promoting and maintaining a high level of Safety.
