We are presently seeking a QA Technician that will perform various optical fabrication processes including but not limited to beveling, milling, blocking, grinding, polishing, curve generation, and inspection/measurements. Main responsibilities: Performs basic shaping process steps on medium difficult parts. Beveling
capable of fabricating polished, double, and off-angle asymmetric bevels Blocking
pitch button, Norland transfer, steep singles, cold blocking, contacting, and alignment Grinding
Steep radius, cylinder, tight wedge, continuous Polishing
spindle, CP, double side, CNC polish Slurry Maintenance - maintains and measures established Baume and PH levels Pour pitch lap, cuts and grooves lap Advanced print reading skills
can read and comprehend all fabrication specs Measurement skills include - Basic Zygo, understanding of fringe pattern, microscope, stereoscope, surface quality inspection, fiber light Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Basic Math skills Teamwork
