About Us:
The Oklahoma City Museum of Art is one of the leading arts institutions in the region. The Museum presents a dynamic range of exhibitions organized from prestigious museums and collections throughout the world. The Museum's own diverse collection features highlights from North America, Europe, and Asia, with particular strengths in American art and postwar abstraction. The permanent collection also boasts one of the world's largest public collections of Dale Chihuly glass, a major collection of photography by Brett Weston, and the definitive museum collection of works by the Washington Color painter Paul Reed. SUMMARY:
Supports the Museum's mission by effectively creating visually compelling materials that align with the museum's brand and enhance its presence in the community.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and produce all museum publications, including brochures, catalogs, promotional materials and other printed and digital materials that reflect the museum's brand.
• Develop original and engaging graphics for exhibitions, events, and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure consistency in branding across all visual communications by adhering to established design standards and guidelines, ensuring a cohesive look and feel.
• Collaborate with various departments to create digital and print assets, working closely together on project goals and target audiences to ensure all materials clearly convey the museum's message and enhance visitor engagement.
• Maintain schedules for deliverables, communicate with vendors and printers, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Design and oversee the installation of museum signage and wayfinding graphics.
• Support the digital team by designing graphics for web banners, event listings, and social media content
• Performs other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Two years minimum experience in graphic design, preferably in a museum or arts-related setting.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, and branding principles.
