This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to help shape how our club is seen and remembered. This is a new position within the business, so the responsibilities are not set in stone. Ensure content meets league, FA, and safeguarding regulations.
Support press conferences, mixed zones, and media obligations with clear editorial oversight.
Creative Content Production
Oversee the creation of written, video, audio, and visual content across all platforms.
Drive innovation in formats including long-form features, documentaries, social-first storytelling, podcasts, and matchday content.
Champion creative excellence, experimentation, and new ways of telling football stories.
Collaborate with photographers, filmmakers, designers, and creators.
Digital Channels & Distribution
Lead content strategy across social media, website, app, and emerging platforms.
Work closely with marketing to align content with campaigns while preserving editorial independence.
Use insight and analytics to refine storytelling and grow engaged audiences.
Manage content calendars around fixtures, football cycles, and cultural moments.
Leadership & Team Management
Create a culture where creativity, trust, and accountability coexist.
Mentor talent and develop clear editorial processes and standards.

Act as a bridge between football operations and external audiences.
Club Accountabilities 1. To comply with all Club policies, procedures and practices and carry out your role diligently and in the best interests of the Club
