Find your calling at Mercy! Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Department: RN – Cardiac Telemetry
Status: Full-Time | 36 hours/week
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Step into a fast-paced, 35-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit where teamwork, communication, and respect drive exceptional patient care.
You'll care for patients recovering from:

  • STEMIs

  • Cardiac catheterizations

  • CHF

  • Arrhythmias

  • Stroke management
    ? RN-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
    ? Supported by Patient Care Associates

✅ Qualifications

Education & Licensure:

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program

  • Active RN license in hiring state or compact license

  • Meet all state nursing board requirements

Certifications:

  • ACLS – Required

  • BLS – Required (or obtained within 30 days of hire)

  • Unit-specific certifications (with timeline for completion)

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs

  • Stand/walk for prolonged periods

  • Perform routine movements (bending, reaching, squatting, etc.)
