We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with pediatrics, to assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for your patients through effective therapy and intervention strategies.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in patients.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
* Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare providers, to support patient care.
* Provide early intervention services for children with speech and language delays.
* Educate patients and their families about communication disorders and therapy processes.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
* Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in pediatrics is preferred, with a strong understanding of child development.
* Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and patient assessment techniques is essential.
* Familiarity with early intervention strategies and school-based therapy practices is advantageous.
