This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the construction of a new restaurant project. The position includes overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring timely delivery, within budget constraints, and adherence to the highest quality standards.
The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. This role requires close collaboration to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Developing project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinating with architects, designers, engineers, consultants, and landlord teams throughout construction.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and related project documents for accuracy and feasibility.
- Maintaining and managing all project documentation on SharePoint, including drawings, contracts, and invoices.
Project Execution entails:
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely completion and staying within budget constraints.
- Attending construction-related meetings and providing updates as necessary.
- Overseeing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring adherence to plans and schedules.
- Managing change orders, RFIs, submittals, and procurement processes.
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress, schedule compliance, and quality.
The Project Manager is responsible for tracking project budgets, cost controls, and forecasting. Key responsibilities include reviewing bids, advising on vendor selection, and assessing the feasibility of value-engineering suggestions.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- 4+ years of construction project management experience; hospitality or commercial experience is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
