Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Boise, Idaho! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are accurately and efficiently assembled and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for locating specific items, verifying quantities, and carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. A strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and Safety is essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner instructions.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities against order details.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by labeling packages and staging them for pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to a supervisor promptly.
- Contribute to team efforts and participate in inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
