We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment, directly contributing to our company's success. Your primary responsibility will be to locate, retrieve, and prepare items for shipment according to customer orders and internal procedures. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using an order list or scanning device.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Package picked items securely for shipment, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Must be comfortable with moderate to heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs regularly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order lists and product labels.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
- Familiarity with PPE is a plus.
