We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. You will be expected to utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers to retrieve items from various heights within the warehouse. A strong understanding of inventory management principles is beneficial, and you will be involved in cycle counts and stock verification. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is paramount. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent walking, standing, bending, and **lifting** up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order sheets and RF scanner instructions.
- Operate pallet jacks and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Verify product identification and quantities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company **safety** policies and procedures.
- Wear required **PPE** at all times.
- Participate in inventory management tasks as needed.
- Meet productivity targets while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse **logistics** and inventory systems is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace **safety**.
