Job Summary:
Are you a skilled technician with a passion for maintaining operational excellence? Our state-of-the-art warehouse in Durham, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of warehouse equipment and systems, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and in compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new warehouse equipment.
  • Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and implement best practices.
  • Properly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to address equipment needs and improve efficiency.
  • May involve occasional Lifting of components or tools.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment and their operation.
  • Understanding of logistics and distribution processes.
  • Commitment to Safety and a proactive approach to hazard identification.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required.
