In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of warehouse equipment and systems, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new warehouse equipment.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and implement best practices.
- Properly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Collaborate with operations teams to address equipment needs and improve efficiency.
- May involve occasional Lifting of components or tools.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment and their operation.
- Understanding of logistics and distribution processes.
- Commitment to Safety and a proactive approach to hazard identification.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required.
