Are you an energetic individual seeking a challenging role as an Order Picker in Austin, Texas? Our logistics operation is expanding, and we need skilled individuals to ensure our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment. This role demands precision, speed, and a keen eye for detail. You will work with a variety of products, utilizing warehouse technology to fulfill orders efficiently. - Accurately pick and pack customer orders based on pick lists or scanner technology.
- Verify product information and quantities before fulfillment.
- Stage picked items for shipping and assist with loading.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and Safety.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Follow all company guidelines regarding product handling and storage.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all shifts.
- Perform duties that involve frequent Lifting, up to 45 lbs.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet order fulfillment targets.
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. A commitment to Safety and teamwork is essential.
