We are hiring an Order Picker for our busy warehouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This critical role involves accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the correct products are picked in the right quantities and prepared for the packing station. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by properly scanning items and locations.
- Operate manual and powered equipment safely, as needed.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or damaged goods to the supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse duties, such as stocking or kitting, as directed.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in a standing and walking role.
- Familiarity with basic logistics operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of equipment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
