Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order forms or digital systems.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of picking areas and equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with packing and shipping teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to process improvements within the picking operation.
- Tasks may require significant lifting and physical mobility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
