Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from storage locations based on order tickets.
- Inspect products for quality and any potential damage.
- Package items using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all documentation is correct.
- Operate hand scanners and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Work effectively with colleagues to meet daily targets.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Tasks may involve significant lifting and physical activity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs throughout the shift.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and supply chain concepts.
- Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
- Ability to work at a steady pace to meet production goals.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Experience with order picking technology is advantageous.
