Become a key member of our logistics team in Dallas, Texas, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking reliable and energetic individuals to accurately pick customer orders and prepare them for shipment. In this fast-paced role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive the right products quickly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include using scanning equipment to locate items, verifying order accuracy, and packing goods using appropriate materials. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting daily productivity goals. You'll be on your feet for most of your shift, walking, standing, and bending. Safety is paramount; therefore, adherence to all warehouse safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience is a plus, but we are happy to train enthusiastic candidates. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders using RF scanners.
- Verify item details and quantities against order sheets.
- Inspect picked items for any damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and general warehouse area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Meet or exceed established picking and packing performance targets.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve operational goals.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks, including light lifting and stocking, as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order specifications and product labels.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Willingness and ability to wear required PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliability and punctuality.
