Your duties will encompass receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking orders, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move and stack merchandise according to warehouse layout.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents.
- Stock inventory in designated areas.
- Assist with order picking and packing.
- Prepare materials for outgoing shipments.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support logistics department activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating forklifts and in a material handling role.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, up to 65 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
