We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Oklahoma City. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This position requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will be responsible for locating, picking, and packing a variety of products according to order specifications. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational skills. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to maintain optimal workflow and contribute to the overall success of the distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanner devices.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) for order tracking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles is beneficial.
