We are hiring enthusiastic Material Handlers for our state-of-the-art facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement of goods throughout our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and relocate inventory. This role is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time. A focus on safety and efficiency is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure proper working condition.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock locations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Handle materials with care, minimizing damage and ensuring order accuracy.
- Support overall logistics operations by ensuring timely movement of goods.
- Must be able to perform duties involving significant lifting and manual dexterity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is required.
- Valid forklift operator certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring manual labor, including lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols is crucial.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is an advantage.
