In this critical role, you will be responsible for the movement, organization, and tracking of materials throughout the warehouse. This includes receiving incoming goods, transporting them to appropriate storage locations, and preparing them for outgoing shipments. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation at all times. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE, is essential. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving significant lifting and maneuvering of materials. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Store materials in appropriate locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory management.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
