We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, reconciling stock levels, and implementing procedures to minimize shrinkage and improve accuracy. This position requires a sharp analytical mind, excellent attention to detail, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics management. You will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and tracking of all inventory. We are dedicated to fostering a secure and productive work environment, emphasizing Safety through proper training and the mandatory use of PPE . While the role is primarily analytical, it involves some physical activity, including occasional Lifting of items up to 40 lbs, and requires thoroughness in all tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies.
- Reconcile stock levels between physical counts and system records.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work with warehouse teams to ensure proper receiving, put-away, and picking processes.
- Assist in conducting physical inventories as needed.
- Monitor stock rotation (e.g., FIFO) and product expiration dates.
- Report on inventory accuracy metrics and suggest corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all warehouse Safety guidelines and the use of PPE .
- Support the efficiency and accuracy of the overall Logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related Logistics role.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform basic physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques and best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety .
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE .
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
