Join our fast-paced logistics hub in Boston, Massachusetts, as a Picker/Packer. This role is essential to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory based on order lists, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be highly organized, and possess the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Experience with handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Your commitment to accuracy and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction. You will also assist with maintaining inventory levels, stocking shelves, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of your work area. Strict adherence to safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques, is mandatory. Your contribution is vital to our overall logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order slips.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before packing.
- Stage packed orders for shipping carriers.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent picking and scanning.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including proper lifting and the use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily targets.
- Support the overall logistics and fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE. Familiarity with basic logistics concepts. We value safety and efficiency in all our logistics endeavors.
