We are hiring a dedicated Receiving Clerk for our Denver, Colorado location! If you have a sharp eye for detail and enjoy working in a dynamic warehouse setting, this role is for you. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, responsible for accurately checking, inspecting, and logging all deliveries. Your work is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our overall logistics operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient with basic computer systems, and understands the importance of following procedures. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety, including the mandatory use of PPE. The role involves some lifting and requires the ability to stand for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from vendors and carriers.
- Verify received items against purchase orders and packing lists for accuracy.
- Inspect all incoming goods for any damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately enter received inventory data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Stage received items for appropriate storage or further processing.
- Report any shipping errors, damaged goods, or discrepancies to management promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area, ensuring adherence to all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse receiving or inventory control role is highly desirable.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with WMS is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory management concepts.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and correctly using PPE.
