You will be responsible for inspecting deliveries, verifying quantities against orders, and properly logging all received items. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to Safety are a must. While this role may not involve constant heavy Lifting, the ability to move and handle packages is required. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect all incoming merchandise.
- Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders for accuracy.
- Document any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Tag and label received items as per company procedures.
- Enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
- Organize and stage received goods for distribution or storage.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area, adhering to Safety standards.
- Properly wear and utilize all required PPE.
- Support the broader logistics team with inventory management tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or inventory control role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting and manual handling.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
