Our San Jose, California distribution center is seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our expanding logistics operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for a wide range of warehouse activities, including receiving and putting away stock, picking and packing orders with accuracy, and preparing shipments for delivery. Your commitment to efficiency, attention to detail, and teamwork is crucial for our success. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, possess strong problem-solving skills, and are eager to contribute to a positive and safe work environment. Understanding warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial, though training will be provided. Safety is our top priority, and all associates must strictly adhere to company safety policies and correctly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical activity, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and frequent lifting of items up to 45 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Receiving and inspecting incoming goods.
- Accurately picking and packing orders for shipment.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Stocking and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
- Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
- Participating in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and using appropriate PPE.
- Processing shipments and maintaining related documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills.
