We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage stock levels and ensure accuracy within our Columbus, Ohio warehouse. This position is crucial for optimizing our supply chain and logistics operations. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing procedures to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy. You will work closely with the receiving and shipping departments to reconcile stock and identify potential issues before they impact operations. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with inventory management software are highly desirable. A thorough understanding of warehouse processes and logistics principles is essential. While this role is less physically demanding than some warehouse positions, there may be occasional requirements for Lifting of inventory items. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory in designated areas to ensure your Safety. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent record-keeping skills. You will be responsible for generating reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and shrinkage. Maintaining a clean and orderly stockroom is also part of your duties.
