We are hiring a motivated Warehouse Associate for our San Diego, California facility. This position is fundamental to the efficient operation of our logistics hub, involving a range of tasks from receiving and stocking to order picking and shipping. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly, safely, and productively. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and possesses a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Sort, stock, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to shipping manifests.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions.
- Contribute to team efforts and collaborate with colleagues to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Must be able to perform occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to work.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
