Job Description
The ideal candidate will oversee all culinary operations, from menu creation to kitchen leadership.
- Culinary Vision & Menu Development
The successful candidate will design and maintain a dynamic Asian–Latin fusion menu aligned with our identity.
They will develop seasonal dishes, tasting menus, and specialty items highlighting premium ingredients and innovative flavor combinations.
Ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning is also key.
- Kitchen Leadership & Staff Management
The ideal candidate will recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff; establish a high-performance culture focused on respect, growth, and teamwork.
They will conduct daily pre-shift meetings, delegate tasks, and maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Set clear performance standards and lead by example.
- Operational Excellence & Quality Control
The successful candidate will monitor all dishes leaving the kitchen for quality, accuracy, and presentation.
They will oversee preparation, station setup, and service flow to deliver a seamless fine-dining experience.
- Cost Control, Purchasing & Vendor Relations
The ideal candidate will manage food costs, inventory levels, portion control, and waste reduction.
They will source authentic Asian and Latin ingredients; negotiate with vendors for quality and consistency.
- Safety, Compliance & Maintenance
The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with regulations and safety guidelines.
Enforce proper hygiene, food handling, and sanitation standards.
Oversee maintenance and proper functioning of kitchen equipment.
- Collaboration & Brand Development
The ideal candidate will work with ownership and management to align culinary vision with overall brand strategies.
Participate in marketing initiatives, menu engineering, and special events.
- Guest Interaction (As Needed)
Engage with diners during chef tastings, events, or table visits to elevate hospitality.
Qualifications
A minimum 3–5 years of culinary experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role is required.
A strong background in fine dining; experience in Asian, Latin, or fusion cuisine is highly preferred.
Proven ability to lead a diverse kitchen team with professionalism and discipline is essential.
Exceptional creativity, plating skills, and flavor-balancing expertise is required.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities is necessary.
A Food Protection Certificate is required (or must be obtained).
