A High-Performance Kitchen Leadership Role


  • As a skilled and ambitious culinary professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a high-volume kitchen, ensuring seamless coordination between the kitchen and dining areas, and fostering a positive work environment that promotes continuous learning and professional development.

  • Manage food inventory and costs (28% or less), develop vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts to ensure profitability in your role as a senior chef.

  • Collaborate with other departments within the bar/restaurant to create an exceptional dining experience.

  • Develop and execute menus, recipes, and presentations that exceed quality and presentation expectations, driving repeat business and growing our reputation as a culinary leader.

  • Utilize your knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures to maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation while protecting the well-being of staff and customers.

  • Provide guidance and support to kitchen staff through training and mentorship, helping them develop their skills and advance in their careers.

  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace by prioritizing equipment maintenance, inventory management, and employee supervision.

  • Cultivate partnerships with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and materials at competitive prices.

  • Develop strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall kitchen performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing sustainable solutions.

  • Foster open communication with kitchen staff to resolve issues promptly and effectively, maintaining a collaborative and respectful work environment.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continually updating your knowledge and skills to drive innovation and growth in the kitchen.

  • Develop and implement systems for tracking and managing food waste, reducing disposal costs and environmental impact.

  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to excellence in all aspects of kitchen operations.
