We are seeking an experienced Receiving Clerk to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is fundamental to our supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring that all incoming goods are processed accurately and efficiently. The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for unloading shipments, meticulously verifying contents against purchase orders and invoices, and conducting thorough inspections for any damage. Accurate data entry into our inventory system is a critical part of this role. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized receiving area is also a key responsibility. Safety is paramount; adherence to all established safety procedures and mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are non-negotiable. This position requires significant physical activity, including frequent heavy lifting of items up to 60 pounds. Previous experience in a shipping/receiving capacity and familiarity with warehouse management systems are highly preferred.
