Our growing logistics company in Miami, Florida, is looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to manage the inbound flow of goods. This role is vital for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our receiving processes. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and ensuring all products are properly logged into our inventory system. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills. - Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Identify and report any damages or discrepancies in shipments.
- Enter receiving data into the inventory management system promptly and accurately.
- Organize and stage incoming inventory for put-away.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with other warehouse departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to lifting guidelines.
