Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

As a member of the External Communications team, you will manage and oversee the development and execution of organic content strategies, for social channels, blogs and online community engagement for Moneris. You will manage and execute organic social media campaigns, merchant communications, testimonials and community management on our online channels and expand our presence and engagement across all channels. As an internal subject-matter expert, you will be part of the strategic development of how we leverage digital channels to reach business objectives.

Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Posting Type: Replacement.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $82,941 - $112,563.

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
  • Lead and oversee the daily management of organic content on Moneris social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and others as applicable.
  • Develop and outline a comprehensive organic content strategy to meet Moneris OKRs, External Comms KPIs, and objectives, while ensuring content is optimised for each channel.
  • Oversee and support the development of organic blog content and merchant testimonials. Review, edit, and optimise digital content to ensure it reinforces and promotes our corporate reputation and builds trust with key audiences.
  • Collaborate with executives and subject matter experts (SMEs) to create engaging content strategies for blogs, testimonials, and social media channels.
  • Ensure all organic content reinforces our commitment to customers, partners, and the community at large, while also promoting messaging around product and solution value and market leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Social and Community Engagement specialist and the CEx social team to actively monitor and respond to audience interactions across social channels, fostering a positive online community, addressing issues and misconceptions, and building a positive brand image.
  • Be the internal SME for all aspects of organic Social Media. Help educate and inform internal employees, partners, and other partners on how to use Social Media to enhance their efforts and increase the reach of Moneris content within their networks.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
  • University Degree, preferably in Marketing or Business.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience within the field of digital and marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience running Social Media for organizations in a corporate and/or B2B environment.
  • 2+ years leading a team of marketers in a supervisory/management role.
  • Experience in reporting and analytics, including platforms such as Hootsuite, Talkwalker, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience interpreting engagement metrics and community feedback to inform strategy and improve performance.
  • Proficient in Content Marketing and copywriting.
  • Proficient in Design, including Photoshop.
  • Solid experience in communicating and documenting solutions.
