High North Laboratories' is now seeking an Administrator who will oversee and implement administrative procedures, establish work priorities, ensure smooth administrative operations and coordinate administrative services. Core Responsibilities:
- Adherence to laboratory SOPs, Quality Assurance and Quality Control protocols and procedures.
- Performing general administrative duties such as ordering supplies, preparing communication, corresponding with vendors/suppliers/customers
- Providing Head of Laboratory with documentation needed for meetings and correspondence.
- Maintaining confidential information for the business, ensuring information is handled appropriately.
- Receiving calls, taking messages and routing correspondence.
- Taking dictation and minutes and accurately enter data.
- Assisting the Head of Laboratory with administrative functions.
- Special Projects as assigned by Head of Laboratory.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or Diploma, in business administration or communications.
- 2+ years of Administrative/Executive Assistant experience.
- Knowledge of OOS, LIR, CAPA investigation.
- Laboratory experience an asset.
- Preferred experience in GLP, GMP background.
- Knowledge of GMP and ISO 17025 requirements an asset.
- LIMS experience is an asset.
- Full comprehension of administrative systems and procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office including Excel.
- High Proficiency in English verbal and written communication skills.
- Exemplary planning and time management skills.
- Up-to-date with advancements in office technologies and applications.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
