Become a vital part of our operations as a Distribution Center Associate in St. Louis, Missouri! We are looking for dedicated individuals to perform a variety of tasks essential to the efficient functioning of our warehouse. This role involves receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. You will work with a team to ensure that orders are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable of handling warehouse duties, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. Experience in logistics or a similar field is beneficial, but we welcome motivated candidates eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and condition.
- Put away stock into designated locations using appropriate equipment.
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Pack orders carefully and securely for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing transport, ensuring proper labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations or logistics is a plus.
- Willingness to follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if needed.
