Join our dedicated logistics team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as a Material Handler! We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and the physical capability to manage the flow of goods within our busy distribution center. You will be responsible for moving, loading, and unloading materials, ensuring everything is in its proper place and ready for the next stage in the supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles and into storage locations.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse to designated areas.
- Stack and organize materials securely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as required.
- Follow all logistics procedures for handling and storing goods.
- Wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and eye protection, as mandated for your safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent and heavy lifting, up to 70 pounds.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in a physically demanding setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Commitment to safe work practices and proper lifting techniques.
- Willingness to consistently wear required PPE.
