Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory accuracy within our Dallas, Texas distribution center. This critical role ensures the integrity of our stock levels, supporting the seamless flow of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, performing full physical inventories, and investigating any discrepancies that arise. Your insights will help identify trends and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage. Collaboration with receiving, shipping, and operations teams is key to success. We prioritize a safe work environment, and all employees must strictly follow safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position may require occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks regularly.

  • Monitor inventory levels, reporting on stock movement and potential issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Develop and implement procedures to enhance inventory control and reduce errors.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the correct use of PPE.
  • Generate regular inventory reports for management analysis.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives related to inventory management.
  • Contribute to a culture of efficiency and safety within the logistics department.
