We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is fundamental to our supply chain and logistics operations, as you will be responsible for managing all incoming goods. Your primary duties will involve accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting shipments, ensuring that our inventory is correct and ready for distribution. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Accurately record received goods into the inventory management system.
- Identify and report any damages or discrepancies immediately.
- Stage and organize received items for storage or further handling.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving dock area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely as required.
- Support the efficient flow of logistics within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in using scanning equipment and data entry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
