Join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Miami, Florida, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This position is essential for optimizing our logistics operations, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring that we have the right stock at the right time. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, and investigating any stock variances. A meticulous approach and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures are key to success in this role. We are committed to a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory turnover.
- Manage the receipt and return of inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements and generate reports.
- Ensure adherence to all Safety guidelines and proper use of PPE.
- Assist with training warehouse staff on inventory procedures.
- May require occasional Lifting of inventory items up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Familiarity with PPE requirements in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform light to moderate Lifting.
