Join our team as a Warehouse Associate in Indianapolis, Indiana! We are looking for hardworking individuals to perform a variety of tasks related to the efficient operation of our warehouse. As a Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to our logistics network by handling inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This is a key role supporting our overall supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be provided).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Respond promptly to direction from supervisors and follow instructions carefully.
- Ensure efficient flow of goods within the warehouse to support our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
- Commitment to wearing all required PPE, such as safety shoes, gloves, and vests.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
