Join our dynamic team as a Distribution Center Associate in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our distribution network, encompassing a wide range of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. You will be a key contributor to our logistics success, ensuring that our products reach our customers seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload shipments accurately.
- Stock and organize products in designated areas within the distribution center.
- Pick and pack orders with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily operational goals in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Be prepared for regular lifting and physical tasks throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Willingness to learn and operate various types of warehouse equipment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
