Our Boise, Idaho facility is seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk to manage the intake of goods. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring all incoming shipments are accurately documented, inspected, and processed efficiently. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for unloading deliveries, verifying contents against purchase orders, and maintaining detailed records. A strong emphasis on Safety, including the proper use of PPE, is critical in this position. The role involves some physical work, including lifting and moving packages. We are looking for individuals with excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail to maintain the integrity of our inventory. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Stage received goods for distribution or put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, or a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper PPE usage.
