As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. This role is vital to the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents.
- Stock merchandise accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick orders using RF scanners or pick sheets with a high degree of accuracy.
- Pack orders safely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Assist in maintaining smooth logistics operations.
- Perform tasks involving lifting and moving of goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack).
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
