Become a vital part of our distribution center in Miami, Florida, as a Distribution Center Associate. This role encompasses all aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and put-away to order fulfillment and shipping. You will handle a variety of products, ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently to meet customer demands. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, physical capability, and a strong commitment to safety are essential for successful logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory.
- Transport and store goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with precision.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and order pickers.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the distribution center.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Understand and contribute to the overall success of our logistics and supply chain management.
- Perform duties that involve significant lifting and manual dexterity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring consistent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and proficiently.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure workplace.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
