Animal Emergency Service in *Selden, NY* is looking for a *Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)* to join our fast-paced, compassionate emergency team.
If you’re a skilled, motivated technician who thrives under pressure and enjoys making a real difference in pets’ lives, we’d love to meet you!
*What We’re Looking For*
* Current *NY State LVT license*
* *1+ year of experience* as a licensed technician (emergency experience preferred)
* Enthusiasm, strong technical skills, and great attention to detail
* Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
*You Should Be Comfortable With*
* Small animal restraint and handling
* Venipuncture & IV catheterization
* Dosage calculations
* Basic nursing care and anesthesia monitoring
* General knowledge of veterinary medicine
*What You’ll Do*
* Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients
* Triage and stabilize emergencies
* Treat outpatients and communicate with clients
* Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area
*Schedule*
* *Wed:* 9am–5pp
* *Thu:* 9am–12am (double)
* *Fri:* 5pm–12am
* *Sat:* 9am–5pm
* *Weekends & holidays required; overnights as needed*
