The company is looking for a Pre-sales design engineer/Application engineer . Type of contract : permanent Workplace Type : Champigneulles, France Spoken Languages: French/English Main Requirements: Bachelor's degree +5 in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience Fluency in written and spoken English At least 3 years' experience in a technical, commercial or technical field Knowledge of the marine and/or petrochemical industry, ideally in rotating machinery, particularly medium-voltage machines, generators, and induction and synchronous motors Skills in preparing and writing technical and commercial specifications and offers Ability to communicate, whether internally, in a team, or with clients Highly motivated and eager to take on professional challenges Ability to challenge dedicated teams, deploy, and enforce predefined objectives Understanding and managing the concept of urgency (prioritizing) Main Responsibilities : Complete the preparation and management of the offer from the initial request to the order, including reviewing the validated contract with service personnel or the repair team; Prepare the technical and commercial offer, including service limits, the number and qualifications of resources, the estimated duration of interventions, the required tools, and travel expenses (visas, training); Complete offer tracking tools to provide a consolidated view at the departmental and organizational levels; Support regional salespeople during clarification meetings, offer reviews, meetings, and/or teleconferences with customers; Record orders in accordance with the existing process. Be the primary contact for a client portfolio, understand their expectations and needs, and increase prospecting and the number of quotes and orders with customers. International travel accounts for approximately 15% of the time. Business Travel Travel is required for this position: Tandem travel with sales managers, 3 to 4 days per month internationally
