Position Summary

The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations of IMT Elemental, playing a key role in financial planning, reporting and analysis, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to support decision-making and drive the financial success of the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets and forecasts
  • Maintain general ledger, including the reconciliation of accounts and journal entries
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditures
  • Oversee inventory costing, job costing, and cost accounting
  • Manage purchasing activities and contracts
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and accounting policies
  • Supports both internal and external audits when necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

  • CPA designation (preferred)
  • Knowledge and understanding of GAAP principles
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory control
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of external auditing processes and demonstrated successful responsibility managing this process
  • Adept team builder and motivational leader with the ability to hire, assess and develop employees
  • Proficient with ERP Systems and Excel
