Maintenance Handyman

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman / Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair several residential rental buildings. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a wide range of general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained for tenants.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, flooring, tiling and drywall repairs
• Execute residential painting projects to enhance property appearance and protect surfaces.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities
• Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards and quality are met at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenants' or residents' repair requests promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proven experience in general maintenance person work, or related roles within residential.
• Strong plumbing, electrical, paining, carpentry and tiling experience
• Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks clearly with team members and residents.
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in managing small teams or projects.
• Familiarity with residential painting techniques and general facilities maintenance practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.10-$45.40 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
